Size & Option Presets
Save and reuse common size and option configurations across menu items
What Are Presets?
Presets let you save a set of sizes or options and quickly apply them to any menu item. Instead of re-entering the same sizes or options for every item, you create a preset once and reuse it across your menu.
For example, if most of your drinks come in Small, Medium, and Large, you can save those as a "Drink Sizes" preset and apply it to every drink item in one click.
Creating a Preset
- Go to any menu item (create a new one or edit an existing one)
- Add your sizes or options as you normally would using "+ Add Size" or "+ Add Option"
- Once you're happy with the configuration, click "Save as Preset" in the toolbar
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Drink Sizes", "Pizza Toppings", "T-Shirt Sizes")
- Click "Save" — the preset is now available on all your menu items
Using a Preset
- When creating or editing a menu item, click the "Use Preset" button in the Sizes or Options section
- Select a preset from the dropdown list
- The sizes or options from that preset will be applied to the item
- You can still edit the applied sizes or options — the preset just gives you a starting point
Deleting a Preset
If you no longer need a preset, you can delete it directly from the dropdown.
- Click "Use Preset" to open the dropdown
- Hover over the preset you want to remove
- Click the trash icon that appears on the right
- Confirm the deletion in the modal
Deleting a preset does not affect any items that already have those sizes or options applied — it only removes the preset from the list.
Bulk Assigning Presets
You can also apply presets to multiple items at once from the Menu dashboard page.
- Go to Dashboard → Menu
- Select multiple items using the checkboxes
- In the quick actions bar that appears at the bottom, click "Assign Sizes" or "Assign Options"
- Choose a preset from the dropdown and click "Assign"
- All selected items will be updated with the chosen preset's configuration
💡 Pro Tip
Create presets for your most common configurations first, then use bulk assign to quickly set up your entire menu. This is especially useful when importing a new menu or adding a new category of items.
