Verification Process
After adding your custom domain, MenuIQ needs to verify that you own it. This is done through DNS records.
- MenuIQ provides you with specific DNS records (CNAME or A records)
- Add these records in your domain's DNS settings
- MenuIQ checks for these records to verify ownership
- Once verified, your domain status will change to "Verified"
Troubleshooting Verification
Domain Status Shows "Pending"
- DNS changes can take time to propagate (5 minutes to 48 hours)
- Double-check that you added the DNS records correctly
- Make sure there are no typos in the DNS record values
- Wait at least 1 hour before checking again
Domain Status Shows "Failed"
- Verify the DNS records are correct
- Check that the records are active (not deleted or disabled)
- Try removing and re-adding the domain
- Contact support if issues persist
