Creating Your Business Profile
Your business profile is the foundation of your MenuIQ presence. This is where customers will find your menu and place orders.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Navigate to Dashboard: After logging in, you'll be taken to your dashboard. If you don't have a business yet, click "Create Business"
- Enter Business Information:
- Business Name: The name of your restaurant or store
- Business Type: Choose "Restaurant" or "Store"
- Slug: A URL-friendly version of your name (e.g., "marios-pizza" for "Mario's Pizza")
- Choose Your Subdomain: You'll get a subdomain like "yourbusiness.menuiq.app" where customers can access your menu
- Click "Create Business": Your business profile will be created and you'll be taken to your dashboard
Business Type Options
🍕 Restaurant
Perfect for restaurants, cafes, and food service businesses. Includes order statuses like "Preparing" and "Ready for Pickup".
🛍️ Store
Ideal for retail stores, boutiques, and non-food businesses. Supports physical and virtual products.
⚠️ Important
Your business slug and subdomain cannot be changed after creation, so choose carefully. Make sure it's something memorable and represents your brand well.
